The language and beauty of its solemn interiors are only part of the discreet personal service, comfort, care and concern that Hotel Hindustan International has to offer to its guests." On our side we would like to say that if you are out for business and conferences and look for amenities for the same, HHI Kolkata is one of the better ones around - can qualify to be your choice.

Rating - 5-star Deluxe (well, different people do say different things about this place, but reaslnably good though not outstanding is the overall feedback).

Location: This is located near the long AJC Bose Road flyover - on AJC Bose Road. This is bang on the downtown area, on the souther side - within a km or two of Calcutta's most happening places and central business district.

Rooms: The hotel has 180 well-furnished and beautifully decorated rooms. The rooms are well set with all kinds of modern day amenities. The rooms are quite spacious and provide all the luxury and comfort to the guests to make their stay a memorable one. The hotel rooms can be classified into 72 Deluxe, 26 twin double, 50 Club Rooms, 24 The Colony Rooms, 8 exclusive club suites.

Reach by air: The hotel is around 17 km off from the Netaji Subhash Inernational Airport (both Domestic and International terminals at Dum Dum).

Reach by rail: HHI is 6 km from Howrah station, 5 km from Sealdah station and 9 km from Kolkata (Chirpore) station.

Restaurants: It has a multi cuisine in house restaurant Kalash which scores high on the ethic factor and is one of the restaurants in the city that dish out great vegetarian fare too. It serves authentic Indian cuisine. You can also enjoy ghazals and light music at the restaurant. The Blues is the new restobar at the Hindustan International, where you can enjoy the attractions of pole dancing, belly dancing and the rock band. The coffee shop of the hotel, Palm Court, offers a wide range of European, Indian and Italian cuisine. The hotel has the Polo Bar, where Russian dancers perform.

Overall, a reasonable hotel to be in, though sometimes people find HHI to be a bit noisy.
